Via Tom’s Hardware, we learn that MSI is exhibiting some highly original prototypes at CES. We discover that the brand has an AIO prototype that doubles up as a miniature display. In fact, this version of the MAG Coreliquid A13 features a compartment and a turntable on which you can display a figurine!
MAG Coreliquid A13: a miniature display unit!
The kit includes a prototype of the A13, with the pump cover modified to incorporate a miniature display stand. As you can see, the display has a small Plexiglas compartment that gives you a clear view of the trinket you want to display. There’s also a mirror base that rotates through 360°. On the brand’s stand, this kit was demonstrated with a small Lucky figurine, the brand’s dragon.
Unfortunately, the size of the figurine to be displayed will have to be limited, as the article mentions a height of 2″. If you’re a fan of World of Tank or War Thunder, you won’t be able to put your tank or plane model there… Perhaps a 1/72 soldier or a small Warhammer?
In any case, we hear that there are discussions within the brand team as to whether or not this prototype should be distributed globally. If that’s the case, it looks like the kit will arrive empty, so it’ll be up to you to choose what to put in it. After the RGB kits and the kits with screens, we’ve got a new trend: display kits… Why not, after all?
Now, if the product does see the light of day, it remains to be seen what sizes it will come in, given that the original A13 came with a 240mm and 360mm radiator and a pump fan.
